Things to See in Toronto Ontario

The Distillery District is a great place to spend a day in downtown Toronto and live off the beaten track. No stay in Toronto would be complete without a visit to Canada’s largest museum of culture and natural history in the world, conveniently located in downtown Toronto. ^{Sources: 3}

The Art Gallery of Ontario is one of the best galleries to visit not only in the city, but also in Canada. There is no better place in Toronto than the Art Gallery at the Ontario Museum of Natural History. In the gallery itself there is plenty of space to stroll around and temporary indoor exhibitions, which are even better in bad weather. ^{Sources: 2, 3}

Since I moved away from New York, Toronto has become one of my favorite cities to visit twice in two years, and it is a city I always want to visit. There are so many things you can do in Toronto on a weekend, such as visiting the fall when you have three days. As you stroll through Toronto, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for some of the best coffee spots in Toronto. What I love most about visiting a new city is finding small places to visit the locals, such as cafes, restaurants, bars and cafés. ^{Sources: 2}

So, one of the coolest things about Toronto is that there is a stretch of coastline that has been eroded by Lake Ontario, creating beautiful gray and white sand cliffs. The Scarborough Bluffs, locally known as the “Bluffs,” and the heart of Toronto’s vibrant heart, the Scarborough Centre. ^{Sources: 2, 6}

Entrance to the observation deck is already expensive, so take a few hours to enjoy the food and the view if you are willing to spend a little more money. During the week you will no doubt stumble across art exhibitions, and many of them are free. The Royal Ontario Museum is located on Bloor St. West and can be reached by bus, train, subway, suburban bus or on foot. The Toronto Museum of Art, Toronto’s oldest museum, is also accessible from downtown. High Park Toronto is the largest public park in Toronto, attracting hundreds of thousands of local and foreign tourists each year and is a major tourist attraction in Canada. It offers a variety of outdoor activities such as picnics, hiking, cycling, cycling, swimming and much more. ^{Sources: 7}

One of the best attractions you can visit with your children is the High Park Zoo, which includes a variety of animals such as elephants, gorillas, tigers, rhinos, bears and many more. ^{Sources: 7}

If you only need to spend a day in Toronto to get a taste of the city, we recommend you spend it in one of the covered museums. One thing you might notice on your day trip is that we have not listed any museums or art galleries. Toronto has a wide range of museums, galleries, restaurants, shops and cafes to visit.
